The only thing you need to bring is YOU!

The basics are: jeans, tank top/long sleeved shirt with no embellishments that might get hung up on something, and cowboy boots (DO NOT wear fancy boots or anything else with or without heels, ONLY COWBOY BOOTS WILL BE ALLOWED)

Also already have on bug spray and/or sunscreen and bring water bottles

Colder weather: It is suggested that you dress in many layers, you will get hot and cold as you move and dont move around.

Lessons usually last about an hour.  If we ride hard and our horse is very tired we may end early or if we are working on something we may go over the hour.  We are very flexible with our times. No matter how long the rate is the same. If you have your own horse, the session starts with riding and we do not consider the time it takes to tack up.

We are very flexible with our scheduling and hope you will be with us in the rare occasion on our part.  We like to pick a day of the week and stick to that day everyweek so we cut down on confusion of times.  You are only required to pay for each lesson at its completion so you can quit at anytime.

We have the lesson horses available for you as well as any equipment you will need.

That is perfectly fine and good for you for wanting to make your connection with your own horse stronger.  You will need to make sure that your horse is up to date on all shots and has current coggins.  You will be responsible for trailering the horse to our facilites as well as being prepared with your own tack. For a rate of $50 per hour our instructor can come to your horse within a 30 minute drive from Diamond B. Please contact us if you want training on your horse.

That is fine, we only have equipment for three riders at one time.  If you do have three riders at one time we have a discounted rate for just $25 per rider per hour.

Sadly, we do not have the equipment to properly provide for students who are larger than 180 lbs. and we can not take children younger than 5.  We are also not trained or have the facilites to provide to handicapped or special needs children or adults.

Barrel racing is a great sport that requires a lot of dedication. We do recommend that students already be advanced riders because we will have to first learn the basics of riding to be able to barrel race as it is an advanced sport.  We treat this sport as just that a sport and not a game we play with our horses.  If you are interested in competing we can offer that oppurtunity with providing horses and eqipment to you to see if it is a sport you would like to pursue.

You are free to cancel our lesson at any time, but if you cancel within 24 hours of the schduled lesson we must charge the full rate that is due before our next lesson is scheduled.
